Britta Schlüter is a trained journalist and has been living in Luxembourg for over 30 years. She worked for many years at the weekly magazine Télécran. In 2006, she moved to the University of Luxembourg, where she led communications, with an interruption due to health reasons, until 2023. Since autumn 2023, she has been working as a self-employed PR consultant and freelance writer specializing in science communication.
Being affected by a rare disease herself, she is very familiar with the long journey to receive the correct diagnosis. Getting actively involved with ALAN was a natural choice and a matter of the heart for Britta.
