ALAN receives European award for its commitment

On the 18^th of February 2020, ALAN – Maladies Rares Luxembourg received a Black Pearl Award from EURORDIS, the European alliance of organisation for patients with rare diseases. EURORDIS awards this prize every year to recognise the major achievements and outstanding commitment of patient advocates, patient organisations, policy makers, scientists, companies and media who strive to make a difference for the rare disease community.

At a gala ceremony at the Le Plaza Hotel in Brussels, ALAN received the prize in the « EURORDIS Members Awards » category for its work in patient empowerment and commitment to improving the quality of life of people affected by a rare disease.
