ALAN marks the start of the new year with two milestones. The non-profit organisation, which supports families affected by a rare disease, is moving from Bascharage to Kockelscheuer, into the new, modern building of the engineering firm Schroeder & Associés SA. At the same time, ALAN has just launched its new website, which has been modernized, optimized and expanded in an effort to improve the information and support provided to the “rare disease community”.
As of the 1st of February 2021, the main offices of ALAN will no longer be located in Bascharage, but at the following address:
ALAN – Maladies Rares Luxembourg
Parc Luxite
13, rue de l’Innovation
L-1896 Kockelscheuer
ALAN’s main offices are now located in the new, innovative, bright and friendly building of the engineering firm Schroeder & Associés SA. The modern, easily accessible and spacious premises allow ALAN to provide optimal support for people living with a rare disease. The office in the north, in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre, the telephone numbers and the e-mail addresses remain unchanged.
According to Dan Theisen, ALAN’s Director, the move marks the start of a new phase for the association. He explains: “Thanks to our valued partner, the engineering firm Schroeder & Associés, we were able to find and adapt new offices that are perfectly suited to our needs, allowing us to fulfil our missions in the coming years. We look forward to welcoming our first visitors and patients in this magnificent building located in an exceptional environmental setting.”
